Ledgewood Bay residents and staff members joined members of the Milford High School senior class to welcome the Spring season with their annual Prom. Over seventy of Ledgewood Bay’s residents danced the night away while members of the Milford High School faculty provided the music. Ledgewood Bay residents and guests dressed to the 9’s to enjoy a delicious meal from their fabulous in-house Chef Kurt – they even crowned a King and Queen! Residents had a ball learning a new generation of dances and teaching the students a few moves of their own.
One resident commented, “I think the High School seniors will always remember the night and I am looking forward to the next Prom.” Another lovely lady remarked, ”It was great fun. My highlight was being asked to dance by two of the Milford High School students.”
Many students used the Prom as an opportunity to prepare for their next History test. Over dinner, students listened to residents talk about their lives growing up, which presidents they voted for, and regaling in stories from some of Ledgewood’s many proud veterans.
Ledgewood Bay’s Resident Council President summed it up by stating, “I had such a good time watching the seniors at Ledgewood and the seniors from the High School interact and dance so freely with each other.”
