A Yellow Flower Honor

During this year’s Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, our Avita of Stroudwater employee, Patty Ring was asked to be a yellow flower representative. It’s a tradition at the walk that everyone participating in the walk is given a flower to plant in the Promise Garden. Purple for someone who lost a loved one to Alzheimer ’s disease, blue for those currently fighting Alzheimer’s, and yellow to someone caring for those with the disease. The yellow flower represents people like Patty Ring. Patty is an experienced and hardworking CRMA and PSS at Avita of Stroudwater. Patty began working with dementia care four years ago. It soon became more than a job; it became a passion to learn more about the disease and more about how she could give the quality of care that this population deserved. Her goals everyday are to make the residents smile, by treating each with dignity and respect and make their quality of life the best it can be. Thank you, Patty for all the wonderful care and love you give to the residents of Avita of Stroudwater!
