I have been in senior housing and elder services in a variety of roles to include care management, marketing and administration for the past 21 years. As a certified geriatric care manager and a member of the national association of Geriatric care managers, I can truly relate to what my families are going through in the search for the right fit for their loved one. Reach out to me anytime. I am honored to be leading the team at Avita of Newburyport.

Abby Considine

I feel so lucky to work with the team at Avita of Newburyport and share my day with such a special group of residents. As Sales & Marketing Director, I have the opportunity to introduce Avita to so many people, and I truly enjoy working with each and every one of them to try to find the right community for their loved one.

Noella O’Sullivan

Resident Care Director

Individuals with memory loss need the highest quality of care, and it is a privilege to make a difference in their lives. It is all about living in the moment for this population and connecting with each individual.   As a Resident Care Director I will be able to impact residents and families daily and be a support and resource to the community.

Stephen Royer

Business Office Director

As Business Office Manager my day is largely comprised of handling HR matters and financial inquiries.Having the opportunity to treat our residents and their loved ones as my family, is the true reward of my job. To work for a company that shares these same values is not only refreshing, it is a blessing.

Debra Shapiro

Social Program Director

I am very much aware of the family’s daily struggles, grieving over each loss their loved one suffers on an ongoing basis. I am passionate about providing purposeful engagement throughout the day that focuses on individual strengths, interests, and needs in addition to providing support to the families of our residents.

Alex Duda

Resident Dining Director

I grew up in Newburyport and to be able to come home and work with such a great company is a true blessing. Every day I get the privilege of directing a Dining team that genuinely cares about our residents and the food they eat. We are excited to use local produce and local seafood in our cooking and I think it makes a big difference – one that our residents can really taste. I particularly enjoy getting to know each of my residents and I like spending time with them and their families. They become my family, and family is the best to cook for.

Kenneth Austin

Maintenance Director

I take pride in ensuring our residents have a clean, safe, and welcoming place to call home.
