General FAQs

We know that many seniors and their families may have questions about the way of life at Northbridge and the various senior living choices. Here are some of our most frequently asked questions and answers. Reach out to us with any additional questions about our communities.

Simply contact your community of choice. One of our Directors will help you step-by-step. They get to know you and learn more about what you’re looking for in a senior living community. They will walk you through some brief paperwork to get the process moving. It can take as little as a day or two if you are ready for the move, or you may schedule a move at your convenience.

Yes, One of the best things about senior living, according to our residents and their families, is making true lasting friendships with people who have shared similar experiences.

We are here to assist with this decision by reviewing doctor’s notes and having one of our nurses conduct our own assessment which will help us work with you to determine the best option.

One of our nurses will do a comprehensive survey of what activities your loved one needs assistance with. We always encourage residents to do as much for themselves as they are able, and then we fill in the gaps. We will review the plan of care together to ensure everyone is in agreement.

We pride ourselves on not “nickel and diming” our families with unexpected extras. Most residents will find the basic service package, which includes three meals per day, snacks, most activities, weekly housekeeping and personal care, along with an added fee for telephone and cable television is all they regularly pay. Optional extras they may choose from include help with some medications and visits to our in-house hair and nail salon. Some residents will need additional care, and this is charged accordingly to the amount of time it takes. This is always communicated upfront and throughout a resident’s stay if care needs change.
