In celebration of National Assisted Living Week, we’re excited to feature Stafford Hill’s van driver and activities associate, Frank Mott!
Tell me why you enjoy caring for our residents?
I care for the residents the way I would want to be cared for. They feel like my family.
What personal stories would you like to share?
We had a resident who was a coach in his younger years. He was being honored at a basketball game out of town. I volunteered to bring him because it was important. He was extremely grateful to be and I’ll never forget how proud he was to receive his reward.
What do you consider as success for the residents?
I feel successful if the resident feels safe, happy and at home.
Tell me what makes Stafford Hill a special place to work.
The people I work with at Stafford Hill are genuine friends. I’m 85 and I still love coming to work.
Tell me one thing you want families of our residents to know about you.
I want the families to know that I care for their loved one. I want them to know that they are special. I have been here since Stafford Hill opened their doors, and I love my job
