Live Well, Love Life - Safely Together

  • How do we live well & love life? Many people have asked us how we ensure our residents are living well and loving life through these difficult times.  We do so by putting our residents and associates first. As a local, privately owned company, Northbridge has been able to make decisions quickly based upon what’s right for the safety and well-being of all.  Keeping COVID-19 out of our communities while ensuring residents continue to enjoy life and receive the necessary care and services they need is our top priority.  We are proud that we have done just that.

The safety of our Northbridge family includes the highest level of infection control practices.
Residents, associates and families can count on us for:

Provision of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand sanitation kiosks 24/7 for all associates.

Coordination of testing for residents and associates in compliance with CDC, state, and local health guidelines.

Thorough screening and temperature taking of all associates and visitors upon entry to our communities.

Extensive and ongoing training for all Northbridge associates on proper infection control and cleaning practices.

Commitment to The Northbridge Safety Pledge – which focuses on a mutual pledge to remain safe both in and outside our communities.

Well-being and a wonderful way of life! Northbridge residents enjoy delicious locally sourced meals, exercise, exploration of new talents and passions, and being with friends. All in a safe and clean environment with access to care at a moment’s notice.

A Message from our owners, Jim & Wendy

At Northbridge, protecting the health and safety of our residents and associates are our highest priorities. Today, many families ask what they can expect when moving into a community environment. We’re proud to say that when you join the Northbridge family you and your family come first, and you always will. We have made critical decisions over the course of the pandemic to ensure our communities are the cleanest, safest and happiest communities in the area. We invite you to read our Safety Guide to learn about all the steps we’ve taken and get a glimpse into the Northbridge Difference.

To us, your family is our family.

It is our collective duty to protect our residents. To do that, we all need to follow social distancing and infection control protocols both at home and in our communities. Our caregivers are standing with us and take the Northbridge COVID-19 Safety Pledge.

Sharing Good Vibes!

Hear from (a whole lot of) our families about what it’s like being part of the Northbridge family.

My mother feels very safe and well cared for during this difficult time. When I asked if she wanted to come to my house her response was: “Heaven’s no! I am being well taken care of and this is where I am most comfortable. This is my home.” I think her words express it all! Thank you!
We are so grateful to the team at Avita, you have been amazing in taking care of the residents. We appreciate the communication, thoughtfulness and endless hours of care during what has been such an uncertain time for all.
Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my mom. In this stressful time it has been a great relief knowing that she is happy in her apartment, enjoying delicious meals and being entertained. Much appreciated!
Thank you to all the staff at Stone Hill. We are so lucky to have this safe haven for our residents in this uncertain time! Love you all!
Thank you does not seem like enough to say to the Laurentide team. Your dedication to keeping residents safe is inspirational. I miss not being able to see my mom but it means so much that you are all caring for her as though she were your mom. You are there when I can’t be and that gives me peace of mind.
Thank you to all the staff for your exceptional care and compassion to my mother and all the residents at Avita. Not only through these tough times but always!
Our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful people caring for my parents at Laurelwood. We are truly grateful for your commitment to helping others especially during these challenging times. We want you to know how important you are to our family.
Thanks to everyone at Stafford Hill. From the waitstaff to all the health aides as well as the maintenance team... I would like to thank you for the kindness you’ve shown during these trying times. You’ve treated my mother like family.
